P-Cell PRO LED Strip

Ansell Lighting offer LED Strip for commercial and industrial use which can be controlled via Casambi and for residential use via WiZ with the installation of a controller.

As the distance increases away from the driver, the amount of light produced reduces by the stated factor and where the maximum length is exceeded, the LED Strip will at that point will appear visibly somewhat dimmer, however it will still continue to operate.

There is a maximum length stated for LED Strip and this will be dependent upon the characteristics of each different Strip. Basically, this is a low voltage DC circuit, where the amount of light produced by the individual LED’s is dependent upon receiving the specified forward current by way of the appropriate voltage, and this diminishes as the distance away from the Driver end of the strip increases. All LED Strips are quoted with details of the voltage drop over length.

For many types of LED Strip, making a corner joint will require cutting and either reconnecting with connectors or in soldering the joints, however, the Ansell Z-Cell is an LED Strip which can bend around corners without connectors or accessories, thereby maintaining the continuity of the LED Strip across its length.

All LED Strip is marked with the appropriate cut points and the strip should only be cut at those marked points displayed on the Strip itself. As LED Strip is basically constructed from a number of circuits in series, which are then installed in parallel, cutting at any other point will result in the last circuit not being fully connected and therefore will not operate in producing illumination.

When using IP20 rated strip, this is possible with using the supplied connectors, however for IP65 and IP67 rated strip, the installer will be required to solder joints, in order to maintain ingress protection.

Both the catalogue and the website provide a detailed list of the differences between 24Volt and 48Volt Drivers, of both Non-dimmable and Dimmable, as well as for Indoor and/or Outdoor.

The main benefit of this P Series LED Strip, is in its high lumen per watt efficacy, across a range of ingress protections, making it suitable for both internal and external applications, whilst also providing multiple single colour white solutions, as well as Tuneable White and both RGBW and RGBTW variants.

With being a specification driven solution, the product is ideally suited towards high-end domestic projects, as well as hotels and restaurants, within the hospitality sector, and that of both retail and commercial applications. With a low SDCM value, this offers suitability for retail stores and ensures colour consistency across a wide range of outputs. Also ideally suited towards high end residential, as the main light source within such locations as the kitchen.

The P-Cell Strip is a white specification product, which is suitable across all customer sectors and project driven installations. Whilst this product range is similar to that of the ECO range, however it has an enhanced specification, with a higher Lumens/Watt performance, with a Lower SDCM, alongside a larger portfolio selection with more outputs and wattages, across the different variants of Sinlge CCT, RGBW, RGBTW and TW options, thereby making the P Series a true specification solution rather than a price-based LED Strip.
