Denny Bros Ltd was founded in 1945 by brothers Douglas and Russell Denny in response to a simple question – “where can we get dance tickets printed?” The company has since grown into a world leading specialist print company through the simple willingness to learn and develop innovative new solutions in response to customer needs.

Whilst Denny Bro’s pride themselves on providing innovative solutions to their customers, they also needed to find an adequate lighting solution for their production areas to improve product quality through operator awareness.

That’s when Lark Technology came in. Lark provide a large assortment of industrial control and safety systems, electrical installations and support services and overseen the lighting installation at the facility.

The production areas required an LED solution that was reliable and powerful enough to illuminate the entire space. Something our Z LED High-Bay UFO could easily do. The project seen dozens of Z LEDs installed in order to meet the lighting requirements of Denny Bros.

The Z LED is tailor made for this kind of application. Famous for its robustness, the Z LED features a die-cast powder coated construction and heatsink for optimum thermals and performance. Available in multiple wattages, Lark opted for the 197W Z LED which is comparable to 400W HQI.

We continue to try and build our products with the installers in mind. Which is why the Z LED comes pre-wired with 3m of H07RN-F cable for ease and speed of installation and has alternative installation options by means of drop rods, jack chain and catenary wire. Providing the installers with a relatively hassle-free experience.

A key feature of the Z LED is that its 1-10V dimmable as standard. Allowing for the site operators to adjust the output at any given time. Regardless of what specification of Z LED is used. Being OCTO enabled also allows users to get all the benefits of OCTO whilst taking full advantage of incredible LED solutions.
