Emergency Lighting CPD - Are you still compliant?

Supporting individuals to evacuate buildings safely in the event of an emergency, emergency lighting is a legal requirement in all public, commercial and high occupancy residential buildings. In this CPD session, we will guide you through the different types of emergency lighting, the purpose each serves and the latest legislation and standards governing its use. Paul Davidson will cover the installation, maintenance and inspection of emergency lighting and explore the emerging new methods of controlling and monitoring emergency lighting installations to ensure compliance. This session is CPDUK accredited.

Fire and Fire Safety - Surface Spread of Flame TP(a) and TP(b)

Supporting individuals to understand the legislation and requirements around fire rated lighting within buildings in order to slow the spread of fire in an emergency. This CPD examines the legislation from England, Scotland and Wales and will detail the areas of a building requiring these fire rated products.

In this CPD session, ‘Fire and Fire Safety – Surface spread of flame TP(a) and TP(b)’ from Ansell Lighting it will explain the room layout restrictions for TP(a) and TP(b) rated products for each region as well as detail the testing procedure and differences between the two. This session is CPDUK accredited.

Dark Sky

Dark Sky CPD

In the CPD we aim to develop your understanding of Dark Skies and how designing lighting and the installation of lighting can reduce the impact on wildlife and preserving the dark sky. This course focuses on raising awareness about light pollution and its effects, with practical guidance on mitigating it through thoughtful lighting practices. It covers types and measurement of light pollution, its causes, its impact on the environment and provides solutions and best practices. This session is CPDUK accredited.

We also offer CPD sessions on Smart Lighting – Do you want to know how to create an interoperable environment that delivers truly smart lighting for your clients?.
