Rabobank lighting upgrade

Rabobank, known for its commitment to sustainability, upgraded the lighting in their main commercial office building to improve energy efficiency, which involved replacing outdated fixtures with Ansell Lighting’s Comfort Evo range of luminaires.

The selected Comfort Evo fittings were installed throughout various areas within the offices, including workspaces, meeting rooms, communal areas, as well as the corridors, with these fittings being specified for their high-quality light output, superior energy efficiency, and enhanced durability.

The Comfort EVO fitting from Ansell Lighting is an economic high performance CCT selectable IP44 downlight with intelligent and eco-friendly encompassing a 3-part design which allows the specifier or end user to select the appropriate wattage option, add the choice of either a black or white reflector, alongside the trim accessories for the downlight (ACOM*/1), thereby offering great customisation and product upgradability.

With a polycarbonate housing which has unique thermal management allows for enhanced durability and an optimum lifespan, alongside the option of dimmable and Emergency versions, including standard and Self-Test Emergency options which are available using the Hawk Kit Emergency Pack, makes this a versatile solution for internal lighting applications.

This downlight range is ideally suitable for a multitude of applications, including commercial, amenity, healthcare and educational installations, due to having a deep cut-off angle for optimum glare control and visual comfort. Being CCT switch selectable between 3000K and 4000K as well as being power selectable, this provides the choice of 2 colour temperatures and 2 outputs, encased in a single luminaire.

Having a downlight design for a cut-out of 210mm, allows installation into existing holes made by many previous technologies compact fluorescent downlights. An anti-Ligature kit is available for those installation in secure environments such as in healthcare and some educational facilities.

With a delivered performance of up to 2800Lumens (21W-4K), giving an efficacy of 130Lm/W, an input of 220/240V at 50Hz, a CRI of 80 and capable of operating at temperatures between-20°C and +25°C, in addition to a 5Yr warranty, makes this fitting, the ideal solution for the lighting installation at Rabobank.
