Berry Bathrooms embarked on a mission to revamp their lighting systems, both indoors and outdoors, so as to create an aesthetically pleasing and modern-looking environment for their customers. To achieve this, Ansell Lighting was selected as the partner of choice to deliver the desired lighting solution.

The products selected for this Project:

The 240Volt 16Amp Single Circuit Track, which is offered in either Black or White and in both 1metre and 2metre lengths, together with the appropriate Live End (Earth left) and Dead End, alongside a full range of additionally ordered accessories. The track system has the option to be installed either surface mounted to the ceiling or suspended using a suspension kit (ordered separately) and can be cut on site to the desired length.

The Ansell Primo Single Circuit GU10 track spotlight was selected to accompany the single circuit track system, with its slimline lightweight aluminium body, anti-glare design with integral driver, and fitted with a mirror finish anodized reflector, thereby providing a sleek appearance and in creating optimum visual comfort. Easy to install, with a 350° horizontal rotation and 0-90° inclination tilt on the bracket allows for aiming to where the light is required to maximise illumination onto the featured products on offer.

The Ansell Prism Pro CCT Dual Wattage is an IP65 dimmable LED Fire Rated Downlight suitable for a range of applications, having a CCT selectable option of 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K alongside being power selectable in offering the choice of two different outputs in a single luminaire. Having an innovative 2-part detachable connector design which allows initial wiring and testing to be completed, to then plug the downlight back to the connector, ensuring a quick and simple installation. Fitted with a remote driver having 2×1.5mm² + CPC loop-in, loop-out colour coded push fit piano terminals, thereby providing an easy and efficient installation. With a wide 65° beam angle allows for increased light distribution. Fully tested for 30-60-90-minute duration across various ceiling types, meeting Part B of the Building Regulations, as well as Part C (moisture), Part E (acoustic) and Part L (energy) of Building Regulations.

For the emergency lighting component of the installation, the Ansell Adler Slim Exit Box was selected, being a low profile, compact and modern polycarbonate self-test emergency LED exit box, with rotatable legends to reduce waste & increase flexibility. With a self-test emergency fitted as standard. Having 20mm side cable entries, plus rear BESA mounting, allows for ease of installation, alongside availability in both white and black colour finish options. Fitted with a LiFePO4 Lithium battery allows for improved energy usage, product reliability and lifetime.

Also selected was the Ansell Falcon emergency compact surface ultra-low profile self-test emergency downlight, with a high-performance optic design for increased spacing of up to 19.6 metres distance between luminaires, alongside open area and escape route interchangeable lenses as well as reduced cost. Available in both black and white colour finishes, with a BESA mounting option.

For the external of the building, the Anell Avio Bollard, which is a 1000mm robust die-cast non-dimmable aluminium bollard offered with a choice of textured finishes suitable for numerous commercial applications. Having a half-shield lens option allows for single direction output. The bollard is supplied with expansion bolts for mounting.

To ensure safety and compliance with current legislation, the including of the Ansell Adler Slim Exit Box and Falcon Emergency lighting fittings enhanced the emergency lighting capabilities and overall safety within the environment. The slim exit boxes blended seamlessly with the interior décor and provide clear exit signage, and the Falcon emergency lighting ensured uninterrupted illumination during power outages or emergencies, further ensuring the safety and well-being of customers and staff.

To create an inviting entrance and enhance the exterior aesthetics of the facility, the Avio Bollards offered a sleek and contemporary appearance in not only providing practical illumination, but also adding a touch of sophistication to the outdoor space, thereby creating an appealing façade for customers entering the store.
