El Grupo COYSA is an exciting new development on Calle Narvaez 18 Madrid, located in one of the most prestigious commercial areas of the city. Coysa are a specialized bathroom company, who believe in the best service, quality, and prices in the market, from the best brands and professional experts. As this was a new development, Ansell had the great opportunity and pleasure to fit out the whole showroom.

El Grupo COYSA chose Ansell for the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the products but also our lighting design process when selecting the ideal fittings, the perfect colour rendering and lighting output.

The Unity 150 LED Wallwash was installed in the alcoves of the store to really accentuate the bathroom products. This fixture is a recessed adjustable Wallwash with 355⁰ rotation as well as an adjustable tilt angle from -15⁰ to 45⁰, this allowed the light to be directed on to the products in the showroom. The perfect balance of lumen output (>2500 lm) and colour rendering (CRI<90) was decisive for the product decision. This fitting is also designed with a die-cast aluminium body and heatsink for good thermal management, this makes this fitting a perfect choice for retail applications.

COYSA required a huge focus on their high-end bathroom products but also wanted to make it a visually comforting experience when customers are browsing the showroom. Which is why we recommended the Unity 1 LED Mains, the Unity 1 3 circuit track spots provided light onto key products throughout, and it is designed with anti-glare features to creating a soothing retail experience. It is a compact LED trackspot with an integral driver included. With a comparable performance to a 100W halogen and with 355° rotation and 0-180° tilt on the bracket it is ideal for use in retail applications such as this one as well as office spaces. The Unity 1 is designed with a mirror finish anodized reflector and provides a colour rendering index above 90 to show true colours for their exhibition.

Throughout the main walkways of the showroom, they opted for The Comfort LED downlight, the Comfort provides outstanding light uniformity and chosen for its deep cut-off angle for glare control as well as is enhanced diffuser design. The Comfort is a simple yet elegant fitting which complimented the other product installations perfectly.
The offices within the COYSA showroom required an elegant and sleek finish, so the client opted for the Sidu LED Pendant. This fitting can be adjusted according to individuals’ needs, with it’s adjustable suspension, meaning you can adjust the height to however is required.

The Sidu is a very modern, architectural suspended linear with a slim profile and bi-directional light output, making it ideal for use over desks. The Sidu can be used singularly or joined together to provide continuous suspension for longer banks of desks or in meeting rooms. The black polycarbonate micro reflector design also helps it to achieve a Unified Glare Rating <6 making it ideal for use in offices and reducing and any potential discomfort of those working in the room.

The customer was very pleased with the finalised design and because of this we have been awarded another COYSA store on Calle Principe de Vergara 257 in Madrid.
