Harvey’s Restaurant – Rhuddlan

Harvey’s is a successful chain of New York bar and grill style restaurants located across North Wales.

They have recently opened a brand new ‘up-market’ drive- thru and seated restaurant in Rhuddlan. Ansell Lighting were asked by their local stockist, Gough Electrical Wholesale, to provide a lighting specification that reflected the American diner style atmosphere whilst delivering an energy efficiency solution.

Creating the right atmosphere was crucial and this was achieved by using Capizzi, a twin adjustable LED downlight which enabled the installer to cast light in the multiple directions requested.

Safety lighting was also an important factor as all emergency lighting had to meet regulations.  Stylish Encore LED exit boxes and high output Centurion LED bulkheads were the luminaires selected as they provide an integral self-test facility which prevents the need for traditional and costly manual testing. Encore and Centurion both outperform T5 fluorescent whilst reducing energy consumption by up to 70%.
