The client, Crucitti Srl, based in Italy, is renowned for its expertise in developing advanced technological solutions for various industries, including aerospace, defence, and telecommunications. The challenge faced was in optimizing lighting conditions within its facility, where the existing lighting system was outdated, inefficient, and failed to provide adequate illumination for various tasks being undertaken, whilst also using this upgrade to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs, alongside improving overall lighting quality.

The proposed solution offered was to utilise the Ansell Z-LED PERFORMANCE range to comprehensively address the challenge, which were designed to deliver superior levels of illumination, whilst at the same time minimizing energy consumption and reducing requirements for continued maintenance. Equipped with advanced features such as adjustable colour temperature and dimming capabilities, the Z LED Performance fixtures offer unparalleled versatility and efficiency.

Ansell Lighting offer three Highbay and one Lowbay variances within the Z-LED portfolio, which encompass 15 different wattage and lamp colour options across the range, and with the various additional dimming, lighting control, emergency, and sensor options, alongside a range of reflector, lens, and mounting bracket assemblies, certainly result in offering an extensive range, which presents the specifier with the opportunity to select the optimum fitting solution for their particular application.

With the specification agreed and finalized, the installation of Ansell’s Z LED PERFORMANCE fixtures commenced swiftly, and the installation team ensured seamless integration with the client’s existing infrastructure, whilst also adhering to stringent quality standards and safety protocols, which following the successful installation of the Ansell LED Performance fittings, resulted in a remarkable transformation, with the client experiencing and enhanced lighting environment.

The ZLED PERFORMANCE is also a robust LED highbay for industrial, commercial, and retail applications. The die-cast powder coated construction and heatsink provide optimum thermals and performance, whilst offering alternative installation options by means of drop rods, jack chain and catenary wire and with the availability of bracket accessories for ceiling or wall mounting. Ingress protected is to IP65 and with a pre-wired with 3M of H05RN-F cable for ease and speed of installation. Offered in both 4000K and 6500K versions, with 1-10V Dimmable as standard but with an OCTO Smart Control version upon request. Available with Emergency, and with a Microwave Sensor option, as well as automatic 1-10V Dimming with time delay and pre-set dimming levels to select and a dipswitch or remote-control commissioning allows for versatile sensor programming, where the options available include, Hold Time, Stand-By Dim Level and many more. Supplied with a 110° beam distribution pattern, but additional lens options of mid (85°) and narrow (55°) beam angles, are available to offer an ideal solution for racking aisles.

Following installation, the client concluded that the illumination had been significantly enhanced, providing a uniform and low glare illumination throughout the facility, thereby improving visibility and productivity for the company’s employees, whilst significantly reducing energy consumption, leading to substantial cost savings over time.
