Primo Track Lighting Drives Flexibility at XPENG Ron Brooks Derby

Following a refurbishment of the XPENG Ron Brooks showroom in Derby, a flexible new lighting solution was required to complement the refreshed interior and create a bright, contemporary environment for showcasing the latest vehicle range.

The Brief

Lighting plays an important role within any automotive showroom, helping vehicles stand out while creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers.

Following the refurbishment of XPENG Ron Brooks Derby, the lighting needed to complement the new interior while providing the flexibility required within a busy retail environment. With vehicle displays and showroom layouts changing regularly, the solution also needed to be easily adapted to highlight different models and areas of the showroom.

The Solution

Ansell’s Primo Three Circuit Track was selected to provide a flexible and contemporary lighting solution throughout the refurbished showroom.

Featuring a modern, slimline design, Primo provides a sleek appearance that complements the showroom interior, while its lightweight aluminium construction enables easy installation. Each track spot offers 350° rotation and 0–90° tilt, allowing the direction of light to be precisely adjusted to highlight individual vehicles and displays.

A mirror-finish anodised reflector and anti-glare design help provide visual comfort, while interchangeable 24° and 36° lens accessories offer further flexibility when different beam angles are required.

The versatility of the track system also means fittings can be repositioned as showroom displays evolve, providing a lighting scheme that can adapt without requiring significant changes to the installation.

OCTO smart lighting control was incorporated into the scheme, adding another level of flexibility and allowing the lighting to be adjusted to suit the changing requirements of the showroom.

The Result

The completed refurbishment has created a bright, modern showroom where the lighting complements the contemporary interior while placing XPENG’s vehicles firmly at the centre of the customer experience.

Combining the flexibility and precise light control of Primo Three Circuit Track with OCTO smart control gives XPENG Ron Brooks Derby an adaptable lighting scheme that can evolve alongside the showroom.

As vehicles and displays change, luminaires can be repositioned and adjusted to ensure the right areas remain effectively illuminated, creating a versatile, high-quality lighting solution ideally suited to modern automotive retail.
