Volvo Garage – Kildare, Ireland

A renovated Volvo garage in Kildare, Ireland wanted to upgrade their showroom lighting and decided to install both Ansell downlights and three circuit track lighting. Ansell’s Unity 80 gimbals were installed around the seating areas and sales desks, chosen as they are adjustable and can focus light where it is needed most.

The Unity 80 gimbal is a compact high performance, professional and adjustable downlight, ideal for retail and showroom settings. It has a 30° tilt angle and a 30° cut-off angle allowing for light to be adjusted and focused where needed. Its anti-glare design, with mirror finish anodized reflector, creates a visually comforting experience for both staff and showroom visitors and is available in cool or warm white.

Its die-cast aluminium construction and powder coated finish make it a professional looking downlight and the remote driver and plug and play connections make the downlight easy and quick to install. The Unity 80 gimbal is also available with OCTO smart lighting, dimmable and emergency options, making it a truly flexible luminaire.

Around the cars on display in the showroom, Ansell’s Three Circuit Unity 2 LED track lighting was installed which enabled light to be directed and focused on and around the cars on display, with the ability for it to change as and when needed. The LED trackspot is supplied with integral driver and allows for installations with a multi-circuit requirement.

The 355° rotation with 0-180° tilt on the bracket allows for flexibility in directing light around the showroom. The mirror finish anodized reflector, along with the anti-glare design creates a pleasant environment. The Volvo garage installed the white version of the Unity, but it is also available in black and satin silver, as well as being available in both cool and warm white.
