We’re proud to have continued our support for St. Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington with the creation of a feature lighting wall for their new relaxation room.
St. Rocco’s was our charity of the year in 2025, with our team raising more than £1,200. We then offered to go a step further and support the development of their new relaxation facility — a space that is now benefitting patients and loved ones at the hospice every day.
We created and installed a feature wall board using our LED Cell strip lighting range. The lighting comes with a remote control, allowing colours and relaxing scenes to be adjusted according to the needs of individual patients. The room also features recliner chairs, salt lamps, throws, a music player and blackout blinds, and is used for a range of therapies including reflexology, hand and head massage, group therapy sessions and relaxation classes.
Gemma Sheerin, Marketing and Communications Manager at St. Rocco’s, said: “The lighting feature wall has brought another dimension to our relaxation room. Using the lights we are able to provide a calm and soothing environment for our patients. The lights help to induce a feeling of relaxation for our patients as soon as they enter the room. During treatments, the lights are also a gentle distraction to help calm the mind as the therapy soothes the body.”
